Gods reshaping my heart-30 day Clothing Challenge

 

Just like any other girl, I love shopping! My most desired clothing item on my shopping radar is the dress! I love dresses. They are easily paired with a nice pair of jeans for comfort, modesty & style! I was sitting outside basking in the beautiful sunny day & felt a tug on my heart. I have so much but at times I want more & in reality I don't NEED more. So right then & their I decided that I will be going through my closet & that I will be donating 5 dresses, 3 tops 1 pair of pants & 2 pairs of shoes to someone in need. Along with me cleaning out my closet, I will be doing a 30 day challenge in which I will only be able to wear 8 articles of clothing. The 8 articles of clothing don't include undergarment, Pj's, work out clothing, socks/legging & shoes. In addition I will not be purchasing any clothing item or accessories within these 30 days.

There are so many people that do with out & so many of us think we are doing with out when in reality we are living like Kings & Queens. There is no better time then now to step back & take a look at our lives & let the Lord reshape our hearts in the areas that may be a little rough around the edges.

I can't believe you are six, time has gone by so fast! You are such an amazing little boy & we are so proud of you! God has made you to be a strong little man with a sweet & loving spirit!

Josh's surgery

             2 servings of salmon, roasted potato's, caesar salad & cheese cake!                    

 

Josh has been officially diagnosed with HHT. We are grateful to have found the abnormal growth in his lung before it was too late. When the doctors went in to work on Josh they found an abnormal growth in his lung the size of a grape. This abnormal growth would have allowed blood clots or bacteria to easily travel to Josh's heart or brain. The vessel that had the growth has been sealed up and is no longer a danger to Josh's health. He spent 3 days of recovery in bed playing video games and sleeping the day away. Thankful to still have him around and back to his old normal self (I think) :)

Gods Faithfulness

 

Our family feels so blessed by God's faithfulness in our life! Josh & I have been praying & praying about where we should live. Our lease ends on April 30th which is quickly approaching & we are getting one closed door after another. Well.......... Just a couple of weeks ago we got a call from a dear friend that invited us over for lunch. We had a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy :)

As we continued talking with our friends they presented us with an  amazing opportunity.  They told us that they were going away to California for at least 3 or 4 months and needed someone to watch their home. Then began to tell us that God laid our family on their hearts while they were driving to Cali regarding the situation!! Well, needless to say we are moving to Eagle Creek, in May which is the exact month that our rent lease ends at our current apartments. There are those few things in life that can be seen and declared as God's clear favor and timing. We count this as one of those times. Looking forward to move into a beautiful 2 acre country home with an amazing germen shepherd name Bart for the summer and have an amazing time as a family. Thank you Lord!

Disneyland

 

Watch out Mickey mouse the Zarzana fam is on their way!! Our family is over joyed & so grateful to have been blessed with the chance to go to Disneyland next month! The boys are  beyond thrilled & Josh & I are ecstatic for our magical date night in the magic kingdom! It is going to be so nice to get away with our family & enjoy making some wonderful memories & of course soaking up all the California sun we can get!!! Thank you Lord for your blessings in our life!!!

Trusting God in the midst of a storm

 

Our little family is in the midst of a huge storm right now that is completely heart breaking & life changing. This month has been a constant battle against the enemy & the waves keep on crashing in on us trying to take us under. Our greatest hope is in our Savior, His love , His faithfulness & His peace. If it weren't for His hands that reached out to calm our hearts  in this time, we would feel broken beyond repair, devastated & completely swallowed whole by the crashing waves around us. When nothing else gives you hope in your life my friends I urge you to seek the truth, light & the way in Jesus Christ. God is always faithful & just. If it weren't for Him life would be meaningless, hopeless & purposeless. I'm constantly blown away by his unfailing love in all seasons of my families life. Thank you Lord for your everything, you bless us daily! Please be in prayer for our family in this season.
