The beautiful home on 2 acres God has blessed us with this summer & the awesome guard dog Bart! God is GOOD!!!!

 

We have two horses next door, how awesome is that?!?!?  The boys love feeding them special treats!

30 Day clothing challenge Day 11

For eleven days now I have worn the same 8 pieces of clothing.  I'm doing this to heighten awareness for other people around the world who go without. Whether it be shelter, proper clothing, food, water & so on. It is so easy as a Christian (or a non Christian) to get wrapped up in buying a quantity of material items that we don't necessarily need but "need" in a WANT way.  I think that God has blessed most of  us that are reading this post with the ability to go out & get what we need or want without batting an eye. I also think that if we all went over our expenditures from last month we would all be surprised with how much we actually spent on things we didn't need. I'm convinced that living simply - without all the bells & whistles - can humble you & give you the chance to have God bless someone else through you. I still like shopping & I'm so grateful that God has blessed our family with the finances to go out if need be & buy what we need & want. When these 30 days are up I will certainly think twice before buying impulsively and think more upon the need of others.

4am wake up call, 6am departure  & SUPER EXCITED about our family vacation!

 

SeaWorld

 

 On our first day of vacation we arrived in San Diego @ 9 in the morning. We then shuttled to our rental car location & hopped in the car to head for SeaWorld to meet my brother & his family.

Don't mind my camera skills as I was watching three kids ages 1,2 & 4 by myself while recording. Atlantis was everyone's favorite ride at SeaWorld; at least everyone's favorite ride that met the height requirement. I must say that this ride was hands down better than Splash mountain!

Got the Chance to see Mickey on our last day with only a couple hours left at California Adventure. Alex was very interested in Mickey's ears :) 

 



Christians favorite ride, as for Alex he HATED it. Alex is next to me in the picture but you can't see him as he is clinging tightly to mamas arm that is around him. We were blessed to have our friend Sheila come & visit us while we were in Disneyland, she is riding with Christian in the back.

California Adventure

We gave the boys  25.00 each  to spend on what ever they wanted to. They picked these cool R2D2 light up toys & spent the rest on yummy treats! $25.00 doesn't go far at Disneyland but it taught our boys to shop wisely. They waited patiently to buy something that they really wanted.

 

 

Mom, Alex, Liam, Auybrn & I watched the parade while the rest of our group went on the Tower of Terror. To my surprise Christian LOVED the Tower of terror ride, he said "My butt flew in the air again & again" I think he is a thrill seeker!!!
